Clash of the Titans

My gig at Black Cat on March 31 conflicts with Lisa Moscatiello's gig at the Alden Theatre, which got a great plug today in the Virginia metro section of the Washington Post. I live on the blue side of the Potomac so if anyone in Northern Virginia has a hardcopy of the Post they can spare, please let me know.

I Heart New York State

Upstate New York is one of my favourite destinations! Great Italian food, fine wine at the Fingerlakes, and the retail thrills of Wegman's -- who could ask for more? Arthur Loves Plastic's vocalist extraordinaire Lisa Moscatiello will be playing upstate this weekend, and she got a great write-up in the Binghamton Press and Sun Bulletin.

Cyberage Radio

In this age of media conglomeration it is refreshing to hear about community radio stations such as KUNM in Albuquerque. Their Cyberage Radio program plays electronic music from 1 am to 6 am on Sunday mornings. The podcast of their last show, featuring a couple of ALP tracks, is here. Thanks to Cyberage's Tommy T for keeping radio alive!!

Going Dutch

Marc from Rebel Radio in the Netherlands was kind enough to pass along positive listener feedback on a track he played from Pursuit of Happiness. Comments included:

great music to get down to
lush, fragile, sensual voice
great name!

That last one is in spite of ALP's prominent placement on a list of "worst band names" that has been in circulation on the internet for several years.
