Better than the Wayne Rooney Shot

As you may have heard, Nike was heavily criticized for
an ad featuring a Neanderthal footballer in a crucifixion-like pose emblazoned with the blood-red cross of St. George. I am relieved the Christians refrained from burning down embassies in protest! Anyhow, while doing today's ego surf I ran across ALP's name fused to a very different image of the Cross of St. George. You can see it in context
here.

Sperm Warfare on Ebay
A presumably used copy of my debut cd,
Sperm Warfare, is
on sale at Ebay for 99 p. Even with the exchange rate this is a bargain. The UK seller writes:
Back in the late 80, early 90's record shop and label The Empty Quater [sic] was the home of all things Industrial, Noise, Electronic - this release TEQM95 014 from 1995 - Arthur Loves Plastic was the labels first forray into Electronica/ Dance and to be honest still sound as fresh now as it did then. This is a very hard to obtain release featuring seven tracks
IMHO it is worth it just for the
femme tadpole cover!

Tapegerm

One of the more prolific collaborations I have been involved with is with the
Tapegerm Collective, a group of artists who use each others loops for mixes. I usually feature at least a few tapegerm tracks on each release and in turn my loops have appeared on other members' tracks. Here is the ALP
tapegerm page where I post new mixes before they appear on CDs. You can buy the exclusive tapegerm mixes
here.
